On April 1, 2012 I brought Teach to the Capitol City to get some spring time pictures. Some of these may have already been on the blog before. But with the winter we had things are slow to start blooming for new pictures to take place in time for my C post.
Everyone needs to stop and smell the flowers. |

Hard to believe this was 2 years ago! He looks so young and not as filled out ... LOL! He was just shy of his first birthday in these pictures. And its also hard to believe how much was in bloom the first of April 2 years ago compared to now when nothing is really out.
In my biased opinion West Virginia does have a very pretty Capitol Building. That Gold dome just shines. And its really something against a very blue sky. The picture below doesn't really give it justice.
This was taken a few weeks ago on my daily break-walk. |
Beautiful photos! Teach does look so puppy-like still. Isn't it wonderful when Capitol grounds and gardens welcome dogs? We enjoyed Olympia and Boise last spring. I am hoping we'll have time to stop in Salem on our way back from Phoenix in May.
ReplyDeletePretty! I've driven through Charleston once on the way to a Cardigan Nat'l Specialty. The drive to get there is stunning!
ReplyDeleteWhat gravitas! Such elegant photos in the capital!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I now have new favorites of Teach!!! Those pictures with the tulips are absolutely gorgeous! Love them!
