These are our first two awards so we were very excited. Especially since we've only been blogging since December of 2012.

Hmmm ... since Teach isn't allowed human food I'm going to answer them.
Cookies or Cake? I will go with cake. Nothing better than a moist fresh cake with yummy icing.

What is your favorite sweet treat? Let's go with Rolo's. A nice mix of chocolate and caramel.
When do you crave sweet things the most? After eating a salty bag of chips.

4. Share Seven Things About Yourself.
OK ... First if you didn't already know from reading the blog I love to take pictures and sharing them. One reason we started this blog.
We love the outdoors and everything in it. Hiking is our favorite way to take in nature and then horse back riding on trails with our friends.
Teach had a brother Zeus who was marked almost identical to him and had to be painted to tell the difference from the two.
I have a sister that has a cat ... the big deal with this is we aren't a cat family. She wanted a pet after she got married and being a nurse with long hours that would be the best option. A friend of the family was giving away their Siberian cat so timing was great. We had actually watched him grow up. His name is Demetri but my sister calls him Kitty which he answers to. Here are some pictures of him ... he is a BIG cat. And he isn't fond of Teach when he comes to visit.
We (even Teach) love the beach and look forward to visiting the Outer Banks of NC every summer. A week just doesn't seem long enough. When our vacation time comes I'll have lots of photos to share on here.
Before Teach I had a Labrador Retriever named Katie. She passed away last year at 13. She was my first obedience dog which I put an AKC Companion Dog title on. Along with Katie there were Corgis. One Corgi still lives with my parents, Roxy. I had wanted a Collie for a long time so when I got married I knew that would be the breed for us.
Teach loves to hike as much as I do. We are members of the American Working Collie Association and they have a backpack dog program. We have logged 20+ miles in it and its just a matter of turning our stuff in to get a certificate for that.
I think that is 7 things. It came a lot easier than I expected.
