He wants his readers to say a little prayer for his Aunt Roxy (even though she doesn't like him!).
She was attacked by another family member's dog last night. She is, hopefully, going to be okay, but it was pretty scary, I'm sure, and has several nasty bite wounds. Teach and I weren't there but got called to come and check her out afterwards. It wasn't a fair fight at all as the dog that attacked her was a big dog! And I was told it took my dad and cousin to get this dog off Roxy. Roxy is a bully to Teach and likes her space but certainly doesn't deserve to get attacked by any dog.
She is on her way to the vet this morning to get checked out and get put on antibiotics to fend off infection. Hope no wounds are deep enough for drains. So ... keep her in your thoughts today ... Teach and I would appreciate it.
**Update** The vet kept Roxy for stitches and possible drains.
Oh, no! That type of dog fight is always very scary! Plus it leaves psychological damage. I hope Roxy recovers on both fronts.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in TNT! Oh no poor Roxy. I hope she will be better soon. Dog fights are scary.
ReplyDeletePoor little Roxy! Mom and I will say prayers and send happy, healing thoughts her way. I also got stitches and a drain when a big dog bit my neck once. I am fine, now, and I am not even afraid of big dogs. ....balloons and helicopters are a different story.....

I am so sorry about Roxy. Hope she gets well soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope she is okay. Our Phe and Teddy got in a fight and we lost Phe. It was just terrible. Teddy had lots and lots of stitches as did mom and dad. Everyone is okay except that we sure do miss Phe. Dog fights are terrible. Sending lots of hugs your way.
