Wordless Wednesday: Litter mates Reunited

Tucker was able to meet up with his brother Ruckus after the show last weekend.  They hit it off right from the start.  Makes you wonder if they do remember each other.

Crazy Dogs on Walk & Share Gratitude

Saturday we met our friend Gabe and his mom at the park for a long hike.  All the dogs were needing to get out and release some energy.  April and I both had rough weeks at work so also needed a good walk in the woods.  Something about the woods that just makes things okay (and of course seeing your dogs have such a great time!).

As usual I took several pictures.  I don't go on a walk without my camera because when I do I always wish I had it with me.

Today we are participating in #ShareGratitude Blog Hop hosted by our friends over at Cascadian Nomads, Oz the TerrierLoved By A Collie, and Kitty Cat Chronicles.  We're grateful we had to chance to get in the woods and enjoy the peacefulness after a hectic week.  I'm always grateful to my "fur kids", family and friends.  Without any of them no way I could get through this crazy world.

Catching Up

Seems like all I have had time for over the past several weeks is the picture posts that don't require much time (puppies consume a lot of time!).  Its not a bad thing, but some things falter because of it.

We're getting ready for our yearly vacation to the beach next week.  Really looking forward to it.  This year we have not 1 but 2 new members of our family getting to go, Tucker & Madalynn.

We're also getting to share our "island" with my mother-in-law this year.  Looking forward to showing her all that Hatteras has to offer.  Its always fun to take people down there that has never been or its been a really, really long time (which is her case).

With the heat we haven't been hitting the woods as much as I would like (that and finding the snake last month ... YIKES!).  We did get an early morning walk in this weekend and were able to turn the dogs loose for a bit to play and chase each other.

Always a good sign when the tongue is hanging low!
Was finally able to find time to hit the trails with Laura this week (had been far to long).  Tucker is still to little to partake in that so its was just Teach and his brothers.

Riding Dakota
Afterwards Laura wanted to take a horse down to the ring to practice some obstacles in preparation of a judged trail ride coming up.  I walked Tucker down to see what he thought of the horse and also to let him run some energy off.

Love how happy he looks with his tail up ... you can just see him prancing down the road.

"Hey ... what is she doing?"

"Oh ... well that's interesting"

"Quick this way!"

"See ... I can pose on a block too"

"Let's play!"
That's a quick look at what's been going on with us since I've been sort of MIA the past few weeks.

Monday Mischief: Dogs Gone Wild

Today was a Holiday for us so we had a chance to make a play date with Teach's friends at Laura's.  All of the dogs seemed to really enjoy getting out and letting off some steam during our heat wave before our next batch of Arctic Air and Snow Storm.  There is still some snow on the ground from this weekend.

Mercy wanting someone to chase her.

Mean while ... Teach giving chase to Pirate.

Rasky obligied Mercy and gave chase.

Teach and his best buddy Xander.

Pirate and Drummer taking a break to get some love from Randy.

Oliver tried to just stay out of the way of the wildness going on.

The 3 Stooges! Teach in mid Zoomie!!

Wildness!

Teach and Mercy wondering why the horse is watching.

Captured in mid-turn.

Winding down ready to head back to the house.
I had fun taking all the pictures, but had to really watch my knees so no one would take them out.

We decided to link up with Monday Mischief because of all the craziness that happened.
